Founded by Napa-native Jennifer Stone, La Grande Fête offers an innate understanding of the area. I always say that my number one goal is to make sure the couple and their families can spend the wedding day enjoying that special time with their guests, not worrying about what is happening behind the scenes. I find it a huge compliment and accomplishment when my clients tell me that they felt like they were guests at their own wedding, not having to worry about a single detail.

And while I love all of the pretty details that are involved in the wedding day, I never lose sight of what it’s really about; the beginning of the couple’s new life together. My husband and I have been married for 22 years and while we’ve experienced many twists and turns, I’m so thankful to have him by my side as we navigate this crazy thing called life. So when I see a couple making those sacred vows to each other on their wedding day, I know that it’s just the start of their adventure.

I fell in love with entertaining and hosting events at a young age, 19 to be exact. While I never dreamt of actually becoming an event planner, it certainly didn’t come as a surprise to the people around me. I am the happiest when my home is full of family and friends, laughter, and plenty of food and wine. So imagine how happy it makes me to help my clients plan the ultimate celebration, their wedding!

My event planning career began while working at The French Laundry restaurant in Yountville. It was there that I learned the importance of customer service, attention to detail, and an overall understanding of true hospitality at the highest level. I’ve come to love the logistical side of event planning, assembling the various components to create a seamless, harmonious day. And, I love taking on those challenging aspects of the planning so that my clients don’t have to.
